- 1 bag large marshmallows
- 2 bars milk chocolate
- unsalted butter (for greasing)
- 1 pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). - Prepare the Pan:
– Grease a baking dish with unsalted butter to prevent sticking.
– Line the bottom of the dish with a layer of graham crackers. - Layer the Chocolate:
– Break the milk chocolate bars into pieces and spread evenly over the graham crackers. - Add the Marshmallows:
– Place large marshmallows on top of the chocolate layer, ensuring they cover the entire surface. - Top Layer:
– Add another layer of graham crackers on top of the marshmallows, pressing down gently to secure. - Bake:
– Bake in the preheated oven for about 10–12 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden and the chocolate is melty. - Cool:
– Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a more gooey texture, broil the marshmallow layer for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
- You can add a pinch of salt on the chocolate layer to enhance the flavors.
- Use a serrated knife for cleaner cuts when slicing the squares.
- If you enjoy a bit of crunch, consider adding chopped nuts or toffee bits to the chocolate layer.
