Ingredients
Scale
- 24 oz (680g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Prepare Cheesecake Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract until well combined. Set aside. - Make Cinnamon Roll Base:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a springform pan. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and milk until smooth. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until a dough forms. - Assemble and Swirl:
Roll out the dough into a thin rectangle on a floured surface. Spread melted butter over the dough. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered dough. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into pinwheels about 1 inch thick. Place the pinwheels evenly at the bottom of the prepared pan. Pour cheesecake filling over the cinnamon roll base. Use a knife to gently swirl through the layers for a marbled effect. - Bake:
Bake in preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and jiggles slightly. Let it cool in the oven with the door slightly open for about an hour. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. - Prepare Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Drizzle over the chilled cheesecake before serving.
Notes
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for the best consistency.
- Don’t over-mix the cheesecake filling to avoid cracks.
- For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of lemon zest to the cheesecake filling.
- To easily slice the cheesecake, use a hot, wet knife.
