Description

A delightful treat combining the sweetness of white chocolate with fresh strawberries and crunchy graham crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium-sized apples
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 4 large strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup strawberry-flavored sprinkles or crushed freeze-dried strawberries
  • 4 wooden sticks or decorative paper straws
  • Pink food coloring gel (optional for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apples:
    • Wash and thoroughly dry the apples.
    • Insert a wooden stick or straw into the top center of each apple.
  2. Melt the White Chocolate:
    • In a heatproof bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Dip the Apples:
    • Dip each apple into the melted white chocolate, turning to coat evenly.
    • Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place the apples on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Decorate:
    • Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle crushed graham crackers around the base of each apple.
    • Add a ring of strawberry sprinkles or crushed freeze-dried strawberries near the top.
    • Drizzle some pink-tinted white chocolate over each apple (optional).
  5. Add Strawberry Slices:
    • Secure a slice of strawberry on top of each apple using the remaining chocolate as glue.
  6. Set:
    • Allow the apples to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker results.

Notes

  • Ensure apples are completely dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere better.
  • You can customize the toppings with nuts, candies, or different colored sprinkles.
  • If chocolate thickens while dipping, microwave for an additional 10-15 seconds to remelt.
  • Use a squeeze bottle or piping bag for more precise chocolate drizzling.
