  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  3. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  4. Add spoonfuls of softened cream cheese over the strawberry layer.
  5. Sprinkle the dry vanilla cake mix evenly over the top—do not stir.
