Description
A refreshing juice made with fresh pears, apples, and ginger, perfect for fall!
Ingredients

- 3 pears, cored and chopped
- 2 red or green apples, cored and chopped
- ½ lemon, peeled
- 1 one-half inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 cup water (if using a blender)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for adding more fall flavor)
Instructions
- Cut the produce into large pieces that will fit through the feeding tube of a juicer. If you will be using a blender to make your juice, then cut your produce into smaller pieces than if you are using a juicer.
- Run the produce through the juicer. Collect the juice in a pitcher. Stir in the ground cinnamon and serve immediately.
- Add the pears, apples, lemon, ginger, and water to the base. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag, squeezing it from the top down to drain the juice into a pitcher. Discard the collected pulp, or save it and use it for another purpose.
- Stir the ground cinnamon into the juice and serve immediately.
Notes
- This juice can be enjoyed immediately, or stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Using a nut milk bag allows for a smoother juice texture.
