Description

A delicious roasted cauliflower dish with turmeric and spices.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole cauliflower (about 2 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the cauliflower under cool water and pat dry. Trim excess leaves while keeping the core intact.
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, turmeric powder, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika until well blended.
  4. Place the cauliflower upside down in a baking dish and coat generously with the spice mixture.
  5. Roast for 45-55 minutes until golden brown on top and fork-tender.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into wedges. Serve warm with additional lemon wedges.
