- 1 cup chopped sweet onions
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter

- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and celery; sauté until soft (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in diced apples, sage, salt, and pepper; cook for another 3-4 minutes until apples are slightly softened.
