Description

Delicious cinnamon sugar bites made with whole wheat flour and Greek yogurt, perfect as a snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour or all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar or light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar or regular sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Olive oil spray or melted butter, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough: In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, Greek yogurt, and vanilla. Combine wet ingredients with dry and stir until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. Do not overmix.
  2. Shape the Bites: Lightly flour your hands. Roll the dough into 20–22 small balls (about 1 inch). If the dough is too sticky, chill for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Lightly grease the basket.
  4. Air Fry: Arrange dough balls in a single layer, not touching. Fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway, until golden and puffed.
  5. Coat in Cinnamon Sugar: Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. When bites are hot, brush lightly with oil or butter and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
