Description

Delicious and easy treats made with butterscotch chips, peanut butter, and chow mein noodles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 11 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 10 ounces chow mein noodles

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl (that’s microwave safe), add the butterscotch chips and peanut butter.
  3. Microwave on 60% power for one minute. Remove and stir. Repeat again for 30 seconds then move and stir until chips are melted. The bowl is usually warm enough to keep melting them.
  4. Add the chow mein noodles into the melted mixture and stir until coated thoroughly.
  5. Using a spoon, scoop the mixture onto the parchment paper into about 2 inch stacks.
  6. Let them cool until hardened before enjoying. Place in the refrigerator for a 15-20 minutes if you’d like.

Notes

  • Keep the treats in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
  • Feel free to sprinkle some sea salt on top before they harden for added flavor.
