Delicious grilled chicken wrapped in fluffy pita bread with fresh vegetables and homemade tzatziki sauce.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 pita breads
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken:
– In a bowl, mix olive oil, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
– Add the chicken breasts, coating them well with the marinade.
– Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. - Make the Tzatziki Sauce:
– In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, dill, garlic, and lemon juice.
– Add salt to taste and mix well.
– Refrigerate until ready to use. - Grill the Chicken:
– Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
– Cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
– Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it thinly. - Assemble the Wraps:
– Warm the pita breads on the grill for a minute on each side.
– On each pita, place a few slices of lettuce.
– Add cucumber, tomato, and red onion slices.
– Place sliced grilled chicken on top.
– Drizzle with the prepared tzatziki sauce. - Serve:
– Roll the pita wraps and serve them warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of vinegar to the marinade.
- You can also add feta cheese for an additional layer of taste.
- Ensure the grill is hot before placing the chicken for nice grill marks.
