Description

Delicious egg trees perfect for any festive occasion!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large eggs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley or chives (for decoration)
  • Diced cherry tomatoes (for ornaments)
  • Diced red bell pepper (for ornaments)
  • Carrot sticks (for trunks)

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a pot of cold water for 12-14 minutes. Cool in an ice bath.
  2. Peel and halve the eggs, removing the yolks into a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pipe or spoon the filling into the egg whites.
  5. Arrange three filled halves in a triangular formation on a platter for each tree shape.
  6. Top with parsley or chives for the tree top and decorate with diced veggies.
  7. Serve immediately or chill before serving.
