Description

Delicious and crispy oven-roasted potatoes perfect as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes, sliced into thick rounds
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, basil, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet without overlapping.
  4. Arrange the slices so the cut sides touch the pan for better crisping.
  5. Roast for 25 minutes, flip the potatoes, then roast for another 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve hot while perfectly crisp.

  • For extra crunch, make sure not to overlap the potato slices on the baking sheet.
