Description

  • 300g penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush with olive oil. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it into strips.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked pasta and cherry tomatoes to the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta thoroughly. Add the grilled chicken slices and mix until well combined.
  5. Serve: Divide the pasta among serving plates. Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
