Description

This cranberry jalapeno relish is a vibrant and zesty addition to any cheese platter or holiday spread. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and spicy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces cranberries, fresh and uncooked
  • ¾ cup granulated white sugar
  • ½ cup green onions
  • 12 jalapeno, deseeded
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon coarse kosher salt
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash, and dry the cranberries.
  2. In a food processor add the cranberries, sugar, green onions, jalapeno, cilantro, lemon juice, and salt. Pulse for 10-15 seconds or until combined. Taste to see if you need to add more sugar or salt.
  3. Spread the cream cheese on a plate or leave it as a block.
  4. Top the cream cheese with the jalapeno relish.
  5. You can make this ahead of time, but assemble the relish on top of the room-temperature cream cheese before your guests arrive.

Notes

  • This relish can be served as a dip or spread.
