A rich and creamy chocolate mousse made with dark chocolate and whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 6 ounces dark chocolate (at least 70% cacao)
- 3 large eggs, separated
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth; fold in melted chocolate.
- Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form; gently fold into the chocolate mixture.
- Whip heavy cream to soft peaks and carefully combine with the chocolate mixture.
- Spoon into serving dishes; refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
Notes
- For best results, use high-quality dark chocolate.
