Delicious cherry-filled chocolate cookies with a mix of semi-sweet and white chocolate chips.
Ingredients

- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup thick cherry preserves
Instructions
- Make the dough: Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one by one, then vanilla. Whisk flour, baking soda, salt separately. Mix into wet ingredients. Fold in both chocolates.
- Stuff & shape: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking tray. Scoop dough, flatten, add cherry filling, cover with another piece of dough, seal edges. Repeat.
- Bake: Bake 10–12 minutes until edges turn golden. Let rest 5 minutes before cooling.
Notes
- Ensure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
- You can substitute cherry preserves with other fruit preserves if desired.
