Description

Delicious cherry-filled chocolate cookies with a mix of semi-sweet and white chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup thick cherry preserves

Instructions

  1. Make the dough: Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one by one, then vanilla. Whisk flour, baking soda, salt separately. Mix into wet ingredients. Fold in both chocolates.
  2. Stuff & shape: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking tray. Scoop dough, flatten, add cherry filling, cover with another piece of dough, seal edges. Repeat.
  3. Bake: Bake 10–12 minutes until edges turn golden. Let rest 5 minutes before cooling.

Notes

  • Ensure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
  • You can substitute cherry preserves with other fruit preserves if desired.
