Description

Delicious cheesy beef slider rolls perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 slider rolls or small buns
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook Beef Mixture: In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Cheese Topping: Mix shredded cheddar with mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl.
  4. Assemble Sliders: Slice slider rolls in half. Place bottom halves on a baking sheet. Spoon beef mixture evenly onto each bottom half. Spread cheese topping evenly over beef and top with the other half of the roll.
  5. Add Crust Topping: In a small bowl, mix melted butter and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the assembled sliders.
  6. Bake: Place the sliders in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  7. Garnish: Optionally, sprinkle fresh parsley over the top before serving.

Notes

  • You can add a slice of pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor inside each slider before baking.
  • Cook the beef until it’s just done to prevent it from becoming dry in the oven.
  • Use a mix of cheeses for a more complex flavor, such as mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • Keep an eye on the sliders in the oven to ensure they don’t overbake.
