Description

This delicious cheese ball appetizer combines cream cheese and mozzarella with fresh ingredients for a delightful party snack.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional for drizzling)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into a ball shape using your hands. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Remove the cheese ball from the wrap and roll it in grated Parmesan until fully coated.
  4. Place on a serving platter and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette.
